To fill up the temporary posts of Fireman in Central Industrial Security Force, online-registration had begun in December 2017 and closed on 11 January, the following month.
Applicants enrolled from reserved categories (SC/ST etc.) must have to submit the requisite certificate proof to the competent authority. Failure to do so will render the candidature to be canceled at any stage.
Those qualified the physical examination & written exam will be called for DV/Medical test. Thereafter, a final merit list on the basis of this OMR-Based Exam will be published on the CISF website.
Candidates securing a place in selection list would be going through a detailed Medical Test, that comes in the last stage of recruitment.
Exam Pattern & Syllabus for Constable Fire Post
Physical Standard Test (PST):
- Candidates must have a height of 170 cms and minimum 80 cms of a chest with min. expansion of 05 cm.
- For the residents of hilly areas, requirements of height & chest will be 165 cms, 78 cms.
- A Height and chest of 162.5 cms, 77 cms will be required for the registrants of Adivasis or Tribal including Nagas & Mizos subject to production of a certificate.
Written Examination (Offline):
- In total, attendees have to answer 100 objective type questions in a duration of 02 Hours.
- MCQs will be asked in English, Hindi Languages.
- Cutoff Marks for General & Ex-Servicemen will be 35 %, and for SC/ST/OBC it will be 33%.
